When I went to the hospital today for Drew's 11:30 feeding he had his feeding tube out! They gave us the good news that they are going to let him eat on his own for the next two days without any supplement from the feeding tube. He was currently up to 5-6 feedings on his own but this bumps him to all 8. He is eating well enough they feel like he is ready for this next step! Eric and I are moving back into the hospital for the next two days so that we can be closer to Drew. He will be staying in the hospital room with us at night and going back to the nursery during the day. They are also taking off all of his monitors so he will be completely cord free!! The doctors are projecting that he will be able to come home Monday! We are very excited! I wanted start crying in the nursery when they told me but held back until I got home to share the news with Eric. Thank you for all your prayers!
