Our Cruise

I know this is in the wrong order but I wanted to share just some pictures with you guys about our adventures in the Caribbean. Our cruise took us from San Juan, Puerto Rico to St. Thomas (we ferried to St. John on our own for a eco-tour), St. Kitts, Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba and back to San Juan. We traveled with some of good friends Frank and Amy.

Eric, Amy and Frank at St. Thomas

View looking up at St. Thomas.

This is a church that we actually were able to join in worship Sunday morning. It was one of the most moving experiences to be so far from home but to be in a place worshiping God in a beautiful church with the people of St. Thomas. All the windows of the church were open and the ceiling of the church was made just like the underside of a boat. Very pretty and unique.

Beautiful St. John after our Eco-tour!

St. Kitts in the garden before our Rain Forest Tour. Yes, I did get bit by a monkey. Ask me, I will tell you later. :)

Awesome caterpillars! Look how big and colorful they are! They were all over this plant. How many can you count in this picture?

Our formal night on the cruise at dinner. We (I) enjoyed getting to dress up.

On our dolphin and whale watching tour in Grenada. We did get to see a bunch of dolphins but the sad news is that our tour ran long and we didn't get to see ANY of the island of Grenada.

Island night of the cruise.

The island of Bonaire is dutch in style and very bright! We loved it! Great snorkeling too! Yes, I did snorkel.

Aruba at the beach! White sand beaches. The softest sand I've EVER felt. Aruba and Bonaire also had the strongest sun I've ever been in.

Aruba Beach!

And no, Eric did not end up taking those ugly brown shoes on the cruise. It is a relief!

Dogs and Burgers

I guess we really should be the ones calling ourselves the delinquent bloggers. Sorry it has been so long. Thanks to Kristin for the guilt trip to getting us blogging this month. We decided to have a last minute Memorial Day cookout and invited a few of our favorite people over. Eric made some of his killer burgers and we set up the back yard like a theme park with goofy golf and washers.

Here is my dessert in honor of Memorial Day....ummm good semi healthy dessert.

Eric and Frank hanging out between rounds of washers.

Lindsay and Bear posing so nicely!

Me, Lindsay and Katie playing a round of goofy golf. Frank and Eric built this goofy golf contraction but did not make up the game.

Yes, I know that Zeke is cute too! I promise that everyone does not have to get their picture taken with one of the bichons. I had this really cute picture of Kristin (baby Emily) and Frank on the swing but she must have decided she didn't like it when she had control of the camera.

Thanks everyone for coming over and celebrating with us! Love you guys!

On a side note, since this is a 3 day weekend for me AND I only have 8 more days of school left (both are 4 day weeks), I am officially ready for summer. It hadn't really hit me until this weekend, but I am ready now. Eric and I are planning our next trip to go back to Jamaica to Couples Swept Away. Paradise awaits us! Ahhh....breathe easy!
